Planteria Aquarium Soil is designed to support healthy plant growth from the base itself.
documenting a 20-day planted aquarium growth test using only Planteria Aquarium Soil, without adding any liquid fertilizers

The purpose of this test is simple:
to observe how plants establish, adapt and grow when the soil alone is responsible for providing nutrients during the initial stage.

This is a real aquarium setup, documented step by step, using the same tank, lighting and water conditions throughout the test period.

Planteria Base Supplement

Before adding Planteria Aquarium Soil, a base supplement layer was prepared to support long-term root health and microbial activity beneath the soil.

It is placed below the soil, where plant roots gradually reach over time.

The purpose of this base layer is to:

Support root development at deeper levels.

Encourage beneficial bacterial activity in the substrate.

Improve long-term nutrient availability.

Create a stable foundation for planted tank growth.

This supplement remains undisturbed under the soil and does not affect water clarity or daily maintenance.

Planteria Aquarium Soil was added evenly on top of the base supplement layer.
A gentle slope was created, with more depth at the back and slightly less at the front, to support plant roots and maintain a natural layout.

Adding Plants

Aquatic plants were placed directly into the soil after finalizing the substrate layout.
Each plant was gently inserted to ensure proper root contact with the soil, without disturbing the base layer.

Plants were spaced to allow free growth and easy observation of their development over time.

DAY 10

Day 10 marks a major milestone in this 20-day test.
The plants have grown noticeably taller and fuller compared to Day 1, with new leaves emerging across almost every stem.

The soil is clearly supporting healthy root establishment — you can see roots anchoring firmly while leaves reach upwards toward the light.
Growth is natural and uniform, showing that Planteria Aquarium Soil provides consistent nutrient release for strong early-stage development.

✂️ First Trimming

Plants were trimmed on Day 11 to maintain shape and encourage healthy regrowth.

Overgrown Plant with Roots

This plant was carefully removed from the soil to show its well-developed root system.
The roots demonstrate how effectively the soil supports strong anchoring and nutrient uptake, even during early-stage growth.

Day 20 – Final Observation

After 20 days, the plants have settled fully and show healthy, sustained growth.
Leaves are lush and vibrant, stems are strong and roots are well-established within the substrate.

This highlights the effectiveness of Planteria Aquarium Soil in providing consistent nutrients, stable support and healthy plant development without any additional fertilizers.

The 20-day observation demonstrates that with a strong base substrate, plants can thrive naturally, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced.
